ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised Standard for Quality Management Systems.
‘ISO’ is the acronym for the ‘International Organisation for Standardisation’. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, ISO is an independent organisation made up of members from the national standards bodies of 165 countries.

Accreditation
In the event of your organisation requiring a Certificate issued by a JAS-ANZ Accredited Auditing body, which may be a mandatory requirement of some clients, Qual-Safe Management Systems will guide you through the process, or refer you to an authorised accredited organisation.
Changes to the ISO 9001 Standard
ISO 9001 is soon to be updated! The current edition is dated 2008. A new version of the Standard is planned for release during September 2015. Risk Management will be an expanded element of the Standard requiring action to identify, analyse and evaluate business risks and opportunities. The Standard will be simplified, contain a new structure and will take into account changes in technology and business diversity.
The ISO 9001:2015 Standard will be closely aligned with the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental System Standard. Qualsafe Management Systems will assist you to develop an Integrated Quality and Environmental system to assist in reducing duplication and costs.
